Coreopsis tinctoria 'Mahogany Midget'—Dwarf Red Plains Coreopsis Seeds

This plant has the most beautiful red blooms in our garden. It is a compact annual plant, but it is often covered in small blooms so it really stands out. The blooms are a deep scarlet red. Seeds can be collected from the old dried blooms, or you can leave the plant as it is to reseed. That way, you will always have some in your garden.

The blooms will also attract bees and butterflies to your garden. The plant needs consistently moist soil, but requires only average water. Mulching it well should help with both of these.
