Blooming freely and easily in the summer sun, this is a perennial that is not only low-maintenance, but it's something others will want for themselves. Up close, the bloom is amazing with it's little white hints. The base of the plant is also evergreen in warmer areas.
The flowers are a violet blue that just glows in the garden. If you cut back after the first flush of blooms, a second flush is likely to follow. Can live happily in a container, or else planted in a nice rock garden. In it's native environs, it flows out of nooks and crannies so get creative!
