These seeds are from our tree here at home grown from seeds purchased when I first moved into my home. Laburnum anagyroides trees grow quickly, and with a bit of care, can be shaped over trellises and walkways. They are beautiful in bloom during the spring, and people stop to ask what they are and where they can buy one. Few plants have that kind of appeal. This is a modest sized tree too so is perfect for a city lot garden.
If you live at the warmer end of the zone spectrum, I suggest planting them with a bit more shade. The blooms can burn if they have too much sunshine and heat.
