This West Coast perennial is found growing near wooded and mountainous areas from the Bay Area of California, north to Washington State. It gets its name from its tolerance for shade. Don't let that tolerance fool you though. It's a tough plant and can grow in spots where others won't likely flourish.

Like other Phacelia, this plant has nice fiddleneck flowerheads. The flowers are small and white, sometimes with a hint of pink, fading to a beige.

Seeds were provided by plantsman Nathan Champion and were collected near Scappoose, Oregon.

Germination instructions are included with your seeds. These are easy to grow. (about 100 seeds)
