Tropaeolum 'Black Velvet'—Nasturtium 'Black Velvet' Seeds
This very dark section of nasturtium can look nearly black in the right light. It's been a very good performer in the garden and I've enjoyed watching the color as it changes with the light.
It's a nice red mostly though and it looks great on the plate. Just make sure to hide this away from those in your life who like to munch on your blooms. I had a roommate once who ate mine daily and it used to drive me nuts when I really wanted the seeds.
